New & Improved: Trane Modular Self-Contained Units

Trane Modular Self-Contained (MSC) Units are the most energy efficient and easy to install water-cooled self-contained solution for floor-by-floor replacement projects.  These units ship as multiple small cassettes that are no more than 34.5” wide, fitting through standard commercial doorways hallways and freight elevators. 

Recent updates to the Modular Self-Contained Units include:  

  • 20–80-ton units are available now and new 90-110 capacities will be available to order in April 2025  
  • Digital Symbio® 500 unit controls are now standard for simplified BAS integration, customer programming and remote connectivity  
  • Low-GWP R-454B refrigerant and includes factory installed leak detection systems
