Angie Simon

Angie has been a prominent Bay Area construction industry leader for many years. Starting as a 22-year-old project manager in the late 80s, she became president/CEO of a $125 million mechanical contracting firm with over 300 employees. Known for her business acumen and engineering expertise, Angie strongly advocates for women in construction and encourages youth to enter the trades. She was the first female National President of SMACNA (2019-2021), formed a Women in Construction leadership committee and co-founded the Heavy Metal Summer Experience, a summer camp for underserved high school students. Currently, the Executive Director of this program, in its fourth year, has expanded to 40 locations across the US and Canada, serving approximately 600 students. Angie is also a Director with Maxim Consulting, working to facilitate peer groups in the MEP industry.
