The 2024 SMACNA Annual Convention is being held from October 27-30, 2024.

The 2024 SMACNA Annual Convention is being held at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, CA. Click here to learn more about the hotel.

The SMACNA Annual Convention is the premier opportunity for members and chapter executives to discuss emerging industry trends and business topics, as well as network with leading service providers, manufacturers, and peers. In addition, you can attend great social functions like the Meet & Greet Reception, College of Fellows Golf Outing, Product Show and the Closing Dinner and Show.

Standard Room Rate – 1 King or 2 Queen Beds: $335++
Signature View Room – 1 King or 2 Queen Beds: $410++

Additional Fees:
Taxes/fees: 14% plus a $1.15/night convention/ tourism fee.

The hotel room rate includes a $20 daily resort charge, plus 14% tax (subject to change). Please note, rooms are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.  For more information regarding room rates and the hotel, please click here.

The Palm Springs International Airport is approximately 12.2 miles/25 minutes from the JW Marriott Desert Springs & Spa and is serviced by all of the major airlines.

In October, temperatures begin moderating from the summer’s heat, leaving days mild and nights cool.   Daytime temperatures average in the mid-80s, with nighttime temperatures falling into the low-60s.

All business functions will require business casual attire. Resort casual is the dress code for social functions. The opening Meet & Greet Reception will be held outdoors on the grass, so please wear flat and/or comfortable shoes. A light jacket might also be in order.
