Jeremy Holburn is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and received certification in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP). His post-graduate formal training has been in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy; this is a counseling modality that incorporates all aspects of an individual’s experience: cognition, emotion, and body. He has worked in treatment facilities and private practice for over 12 years. Jeremy’s work has supported individuals with substance use disorder, adolescents in detention settings, relational stress/dysfunction, as well as acute and developmental trauma processing.
Jeremy began working with the SMOHIT Helpline in November of 2021.
Prior to becoming a counselor, Jeremy worked in construction for over 15 years; that work experience provides Jeremy with specific insight into what SMART Members might be confronting in calling the SMOHIT Helpline. This insight paired with his professional training provides SMART Members a knowledgeable and empathetic point of connect when calling the SMOHIT Helpline.
In his downtime, Jeremy finds balance by fly fishing on the rivers and streams of Colorado. He’s also an avid cyclist and traditional archer. Jeremy and his wife, Julie, spend as much time with family as they can.
