ACA Compliance White Paper

The whitepaper, “Contractor Compliance with the Affordable Care Act in 2016,” details the requirements of the Affordable Care Act for contractors considered Applicable Large Employers (ALEs).  ALEs are required to offer Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) to at least 95% of full-time employees, full-time equivalents, and their dependents.  This paper discusses the effects of a collective bargaining agreement on that requirement and what employers have to to report to the IRS information regarding its employees’ health coverage.
