The raw metal material is formed into thin pieces to create sheet metal. Types of metal can vary as well as the thickness of the sheet metal. Duct work is one of the most common uses of sheet metal. HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems are used to control temperature, humidity, and air quality. These systems include ductwork, ventilators, a furnace, and air conditioners.
