Kurt Snyder

Kurt Snyder has a vast background in organizational leadership spanning 30 years. His unconventional and innovative approach to leadership has turned around and improved the esprit de corps on naval warships and within other organizations. These results have transcended through varying international locations and languages, a myriad of industries, and the younger generation within high school athletics. He is the Executive Director for SMACNA Mid-Atlantic in Maryland.

As a former U.S. Navy officer, Kurt was consistently recognized as someone who constantly improved the organizational climate and those around him while still delivering performance. His experience as a liaison officer with various NATO countries helped to further shape his vision of leadership, commonality, and team building. 

After years of continued learning and observation, he identified patterns of how people perceive, act, and communicate. Kurt’s approach to leadership and empowering others demonstrates the power we all have, to create positive change!

Kurt is a service academy graduate and received his Bachelor of Science at the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY. He also holds a Master of Science from Duquesne University.
