Carsten Jay Hansen

Jay Hansen is the owner and operator of CJ Hansen Co., Inc, a third-generation family-owned Full Mechanical Contractor signatory with SMART Local 16 and UA Local 290 in Salem Oregon. 

Jay manages all aspects of the operation of CJ Hansen Co., Inc. as well as representing the interests of CJ Hansen Co. Inc., and small business in general, on the Oregon State Mechanical Board, the Oregon PMCA Board of Directors, the Columbia SMACNA Chapter GAC and Safety Committees, and on the SMACNA National Safety & Health Committee.

Jay has been married to Pamela Folan-Hansen for the past 31 years.  Pam & Jay have 3 children, Hetta, CJ & Tayte.  Jay is a graduate (’89-BS) of the Mighty University of Oregon Fighting Ducks and literally bleeds green.  Jay enjoys fishing of all types, golf, bird hunting, skiing, and mowing the grass on their 8 acres hobby farm located on the Applegate Trail west of Salem, Oregon.  Pam & Jay currently devote their time to keeping up with their GSP Whizzbang (6) and Black Lab Gigi (4).
