SMACNA proudly announces that the upcoming Product Show will include a smoke training module courtesy of the Western States Council. Attendees of the October 17 event at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona, will have the opportunity to witness a technical and hands-on presentation of TAB as well as Fire Smoke Dampers (FSD) and Smoke Control Systems (SCS) inspections and maintenance.
Used primarily to assist in training TAB technicians, the smoke training module is also used to educate inspectors, engineers, fire inspectors, legislative officials, and other government agencies on the importance of proper installation, maintenance, inspection, and enforcement of fire smoke dampers and smoke control systems.
At the SMACNA Product Show, attendees can go through a basic demonstration of what is covered during a training session, and members of the Western States Council will be on hand to answer questions.
